Non Investment Insurance
- A Non Investment Insurance is defined as an insurance contract, which is a general Insurance contract or a pure protection contract.
Examples of General Insurance contracts are Income Replacement policies like Payment Protection Insurance, Accident Sickness and Unemployment (ASU) cover, Buildings Insurance. A Pure Protection contract is Life Assurance with no investment element; an example is Term Assurance Policies.
The sale of Non-Investment Insurance contracts are regulated by the Financial Services Authority. |
