Your MINT loan may be used for almost any purpose, including debt consolidation. You must be over the age of 18 and a UK resident in order to apply for a MINT loan. MINT will not consider applications from anyone with County Court Judgements (CCJs).
The interest rate you will be charged will depend on the size of the loan you choose and on your circumstances and the credit assessment MINT carries out as part of your application. MINT operates four interest rate bands for its personal loan; the smaller the loan, the higher the rate band.
Do bear in mind that you may not be offered the quoted typical APR. The rate you will be offered for your personal loan will be dictated by the factors outlined above.
If you accepted as a customer by MINT you may opt to receive the money you are borrowing by next working day transfer. However, there is a charge of £35 for this service.
Although you may not make any lump sum repayments, you can pay your MINT loan back in full at any time, but there will be a charge of one months' interest in doing so. The MINT loan does not offer any repayment holidays and there is no facility to defer your initial repayment either.
MINT is a business name of The Royal Bank of Scotland. |
